Singer-songwriter Mayumi Kojima made her debut in 1995 with the single 'Kekkon Soudanjo,' and is known as a pioneer of the Showa Kayo revival movement that would later gain popularity. With a distinctive musical style that reimagines jazz, rockabilly, French pop, and classic Japanese pop, she has carved out a unique place in Japanese music history.

Now, in 2025-marking the 30th anniversary of her debut-Mayumi Kojima resumes full-scale musical activity with the release of a newly curated best album. The LP edition will be split into two volumes (Early Years / Later Years), each featuring different cover artwork.
